I love teaching the kids through sensory activities. It’s engaging, memorable + I personally love open-ended opportunities to allow the kids to fully express creativity. Bloom’s Taxonomy Levels of Learning include: Knowledge, Understanding, Application, Analysis, Synthesis + Evaluation. Higher level thinking creates deeper learning. Creative Synthesis through sensory play can really provide opportunities for growth.

How-to Make Rainbow Rice
Pour small amounts of rice into a glass bowl, add drops of natural food dye. Stir until well covered. Next, pour the colored rice into your sensory table, bin or container. Then, continue to pour small amounts of rice into the glass bowl + add the remaining colors. Continue to make different colors by adding more or less drops of color to create different shades. Also, mix colors to create new colors as well. This is also a fun activity to do with the kids!
Are you homeschooling, Remote learning, multi-tasking with a baby? I absolutely recommend my favorite wrap here. Keep baby cozy + happy + have daily naps on the go with your hands free. The best part, is the peace you feel wearing the baby.
