Maternity Style + Pink Blush Giveaway
As a mom of two busy boys + a third one on the way, I've learned I'm at my best when I'm true to myself + when I practice self-care. This helps me to be a better mom, wife, friend + most of all happiest with myself. I've found this to be so important because so many unexpected things come along with motherhood. Being a boy mom = chaos, messes, random trips to the park, bumps, scrapes, ER visits, + also the unplanned visits to the allergist for us. So, the small things that I can do to take care of myself sure can go a long way.
I've found Pink Blush Maternity + I'm so thankful for them! The Pink Blush style completely fits my pre- and post-pregnancy style + I feel a little more like myself in this dress. Maternity clothes sure can be hard to find. But, I'm so thankful for the beautiful options they offer. I mean, I am totally a mint + turquoise kind of girl.
I also love Pink Blush because they carry more than just maternity clothes! Pink Blush also carries sections for women's, nursing, women's plus, accessories + baby. The site is so beautiful. I love Pink Blush so much, that I think you will too, so I am hosting a giveaway on Instagram for a $75 gift card to Pink Blush. The gift card is valid for any section of the beautiful site. Be sure to hop on over to Instagram to enter. You don't want to miss out + it's super easy to enter this giveaway! Also, today only clearance items are an additional 50% off. A great sale makes shopping for ourselves even better, huh?
I love wearing belts above my bump with maternity dresses. I made this quick + easy DIY belt. Just cut or tear 3 long pieces of fabric 1 to 1 1/2 inches wide. Braid the 3 pieces + tie the belt behind the back. Super easy + you could try with different colors, too.
Our children are watching us. Our own self-concept helps them shape theirs. I've decided that I want to strive to be the kind of person + parent that I hope my kids strive to be. I'm not perfect + surely my life will never be perfectly balanced. But, I sure do the best I can to show my kids that I can take care of myself just like I can for them. They are precious children that deserve to be cherished + it's ok if I try to take care of myself too. That means I need some turquoise dresses + yoga in my life.
What about you? What are the little things in life that you need to be happiest + true to yourself? Let me know in the comments.
