Valentine’s Day Peppermint Chocolate Hearts

Ingredients:

1 Package of Candy Canes (large or mini)

1 Package of Enjoy Life Foods Chocolate

Variety of red, pint, gold + heart shaped sprinkles

Parchment Paper

Directions:

Place parchment paper on a baking sheet (which will make the hearts portable as they dry) or on a kitchen table or counter. Choose your preferred workspace.

Pour chocolate chips into a bowl, microwave for 1 minute. Stir. Continue to microwave in 30 second increments until fully melted + smooth.

While the chocolate is melting, arrange the candy canes into hearts on the parchment paper.

Once the chocolate is fully melted, scoop into the hearts + let cool.

Top with sprinkles. The more the merrier.

Variations:

Use dark chocolate + white chocolate for more variety.

Add food coloring to white chocolate to create red, pink + purple chocolate.

Drizzle alternating colors of chocolate onto the filled chocolate hearts.

Create small bowls of various sprinkles so the kids can have the best time creating beautiful hearts!

Enjoy!
