The Loop: My New Favorite Baby Carrier for 15-45 lbs

Please don’t tell me she will outgrow the Wrap. Please don’t tell me she’ll outgrow the Wrap. Please. I literally live in the Solly Wrap. It’s absolutely my most used baby product. I’ve worn Ainsley in the Solly Wrap everyday (other than the days she and I were in the hospital or the week after my thyroid lobectomy surgery). Now that she’s 17 lbs and almost a year, my heart has been breaking knowing that the days in the wrap will come to a close before I’d like to accept. Elle of Solly Baby answered my prayers + the Loop Carrier is here for babies 15 - 45 lbs.

This carrier has been in the making for more than 5 years + I am so thank it’s here. Ainsley is too! She loves cuddling in the the wrap for naps everyday. Elle of Solly Baby started designing this Loop Carrier after for 3rd baby outgrew the Wrap at 12 months. I am so glad she did! It’s beautiful, comfortable + simple to wear! You will love this + I’m sure you will wish you had this 9 years ago like I do.

The Loop is the perfect next-step carrier for fans of the Solly Wrap. A familiar silhouette similar to the wrap in beautiful 100% GOTS Certified organic cotton for added support as your little one grows. This woven material offers more support than the wrap. A ring is sewn into the center of the fabric. Just place it in the center of your back, drape over your shoulders + wrap each side above your hips + thread through the top of the loop on the back. That’s it. Simple + quick.

Checklist for Safe Babywearing

T.I.C.K.S

T - Tight

Your carrier should be tight enough to hug your baby close to you as this will be the most comfortable for you.

I - In View at all times

You should always be able to see baby’s face by simply glancing down.

C - Close enough to kiss

Your baby’s head should be as close to your chin as comfortable. By tipping your head forward you should be able to kiss your baby on the head or forehead.

K - Keep chin off chest

Baby never should be curled so their chin is forced onto their chest as this can restrict their breathing.

S - Supported back

In an upright carry, baby should be held comfortably close to the wearer so their back is supported in its natural position + their tummy + chest are against you.
